I have been toying with an idea for a falling satellite song ever since Skylab was going to fall; "It's falling, but they don't know where". Now we have the 6.5 ton UARS falling somewhere, sometime, maybe later this month. A riff and words came to me in a dream a couple of nights ago, so I went to Johns violin shop yesterday and turned on the Lumix TZ3 while we figured out how we might play it. I plan to debut the song with the band when we play this Saturday at the "Big Blues Blow Out". I hope to video the performance and post it here as part 2 of basic methods of writing songs found in dreams.
